We spent New Year's Eve at this hotel and the fireworks display in the area was fantastic. The location is excellent for anyone who enjoys the simple pleasures of walking in the woods. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was decent.
The "New Year's celebration" was an expensive joke. The "DJ" played terrible music at a deafening volume, and there was no dancing or entertainment.

Nothing that I didn't like.

The front desk service was lacking. Staff members were absent from the reception desk regularly, which made it hard to get any assistance.
